Payback4Ukraine is a campaigning project led by world leading lawyers, academics, investigators and campaigners. Practitioners from all over the world have united to support the Ukrainian people. The team is very much inclusive and marries the best of Ukrainian and international expertise.
This programme is managed and coordinated by McCue Jury & Partners, a London based law firm. McCue Jury & Partners is a world leader in lawfare, or the strategic use of litigation to supplement political and military objectives. The firm has a long history of successfully prosecuting terrorist organisations and rogue states around the world to ensure the return of compensation to victims.
Payback4Ukraine is officially partnered with the Legacy of War Foundation, an international charity founded by the esteemed war photographer Giles Duley to provide support to civilians affected by war. Its mission is to help individuals and communities rebuild their lives after the trauma of war by providing education, tools, training, and other support (be it physical, psychological or economic), to enable individuals to shape their own futures once more.
Payback4Ukraine agrees that it is only through true grassroots regeneration that Ukraine will properly be able to reconstruct its country, and Ukrainians rebuild their lives. Justice and compensation (reparations) are an essential legacy of war. We are truly grateful to the Legacy of War Foundation for its support: together we are stronger towards providing a brighter future for all Ukrainians.
Whilst the Ukraine Justice Alliance was formed to garner expertise for the programme, many other leading individuals and practitioner firms are engaged directly in aspects of the programme and many more are anticipated as the programme seeks to expand potential legal actions into other jurisdictions.
The Ukrainian Government has blessed and is actively supporting the programme through the provision of evidence, logistical support, public relations and assistance with fundraising.
